Every formulation passes through three borders before it earns our name. Raw materials are selected in Surrey, England. Compositions are macerated and bottled at our atelier in Singapore. Final distribution is overseen, by hand, from Jakarta.

Our perfumers visit EFF's Surrey archive twice a year, selecting from a library of over five hundred essential oils, absolutes and rare botanicals — each catalogued by harvest, region and vintage.
Each accord is drafted, dosed and revised — a process that may take eighteen months for a single fragrance. Nothing leaves the laboratory until it sings.
Once compounded, the concentrate rests in darkened steel — a minimum of four weeks, often longer. Time, not chemistry, is the final ingredient.
